
TIMANFAYA
A visit to the Volcanoes Park is a must.
Guided tour by bus to discover lunar landscapes and learn about the formation of the island.
Take a sit on the right side of the bus. Much better view ! Get off the bus if you don't find seat on the right side, really ! Take the next one ;)

CUEVA DE LOS VERDES
Again a must see, enter a lava tube and its caves in the heart of the volcano. Departure every 30 minutes in small groups.

JAMEOS DEL AGUA
Unique volcanic tunnel and caverns with underground concert hall, designed by César Manrique. Possibility to eat in the cave. To visit at the same time as Cueva de los Verdes, it's located next to it.

JARDÍN DE CACTUS
A botanical garden created again by César Manrique, you will discover an important collection of cactus, small and large. Possibility to eat on site. A must see !

LOS HERVIDEROS
A landscape of cliffs and caves shaped by the fury of the waves that carve out the volcanic cliffs. To visit before or after Lago Verde by the LZ103 road, because the road is cut on the other side. (free visit)

LAGO VERDE
The seaweed living in this lake gives it an amazing green colour. It is accessible by a small path on the side of the cliff. Stop by the fishing village El Golfo for a fish meal or to watch the sunset. (free visit)

LA GERIA
Take the LZ30 road to see the vines growing in a conical hole in the volcanic sand. The landscape is beautiful.
We recommend a visit and wine tasting at Bodega Stratvs, which for us is the most beautiful one.

FAMARA
Famara is a favourite spot for surfers. A small fishing village invaded by sand, facing the gigantic cliffs that fall into the Ocean. The place is ideal to eat a typical dish in front of this landscape (free visit).
Nice idea to visit as well the village of Teguise on Sundays.

TEGUISE
Charming little village with pedestrian streets, restaurants and shops. We recommend a visit on Sunday mornings for its market and especially the atmosphere of the village due to the numerous handicraft shops.

CHARCO SAN GINES
Enjoy one of the many restaurants lining the small fishing port connected to the Atlantic Ocean, for a quiet moment while passing through Arrecife (free visit).

LANZALOE
Visit the Lanzaloé plantation and drop by the shop where you will be advised on the best products (free visit).
Many other shops sell products at a lower price, but Aloe is not coming from the volcanic lands of Lanzarote.

STRATIFIED CITY
This place is a little secret address. This is a unique rock formation, formed by time, wind, rain and sun. The American Rocks in a small way!
On the LZ404 you can stop after visiting Cueva de los Verdes. (free visit)

PAPAGAYO BEACH
Right next to the villa the most famous and beautiful beaches on the island. Large car park. The small restaurant overlooking the site offers delicious cocktails.
Access fee is 3€ per vehicle (free before 9am and after 4pm).

LA GRACIOSA
At the very north of the island, from Orsola, take a fast ferry to the island of La Graciosa. Nature is in its purest state with splendid beaches and coves with crystal clear waters. There are very few cars and you can get around by bike.

LOCAL MARKETS
There are several local markets on the island : sunday morning in Teguise, saturday morning in Haría, farmer’s market on sunday morning in Mancha Blanca, saturday & sunday morning in Uga and wednesday & saturday morning in Playa Blanca...

MIRADOR DEL RIO
At an altitude of 470m, it sits atop the high volcanic cliffs, offering the best coastal views in Lanzarote, where you can offer you a refreshment in the café designed by Cesar Manrique.
Better go there on a very clear day !

SALINAS DE JANUBIO
Between the sea and the volcanoes, the salt flats are bordered by the splendid beach of Janubio and its almost deserted beach of extremely black sand. Ideal for superb photos (free visit).

LAS GRIETAS
Nice and unusual visit to Las Grietas. Rifts in lava fields. It is a secret spot on the LZ-35 road between Tias and San
Bartolomé. Don't miss this impressive ride

MANRIQUE FUNDATION
Housed in Cesar Manrique's spectacular house, built in the middle of a lava flow with natural volcanic bubbles connected through tunnels dug in the lava and covering 3000 m2

LAGOMAR
Majestically formed around the same rocks from which it was built, a volcanic quarry with natural labyrinths and caves. A truly spectacular work of art created by Nature from the molten lava which once flowed down these same slopes of the ancient volcano above LagOmar.

VOLCANO HIKES
Lanzarote is a paradise for hikers. There are a multitude of trails that will take you to the crater tops, with breathtaking views! (free visit)
